Carol Bennett, MSW/LCSW

Ms. Carol Bennett, MSW/LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, loss/grief, end of life issues and decision making, and the impacts of chronic and acute illness on holistic well-being.

Ms. Bennett has worked extensively as a hospice social worker, dealing with end-of-life issues and grief work. She also has experience in gerontology, adult mental health, and clinical supervision.

Ms. Bennett’s philosophy in working with clients centers on change always being possible, and providing the supportive, therapeutic relationship that makes the difference. This includes acceptance, being non-judgmental, and always striving for the client’s right to self-determination.

Life affords many challenges and losses. Having the ability to recognize these impacts our well-being, on all levels: mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Creating a change environment enables one to experience the growth desired. Work is involved, but it is well worth it.

Her preferred models of intervention are strengths based, and include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Effective Communication, and psycho-educational.

Carol looks forward to working with those who seek change to enhance life satisfaction and realize improved relationships.
