Chloe Hill, MSW, LCSW, LCAS-A

Chloe Hill, MSW, LCSW, LCAS-A is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a range of experience providing trauma-informed, person-centered therapy to adults with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring concerns.

While Ms. Hill enjoys counseling individuals with a range of backgrounds and goals for treatment, she specializes in healing psychological trauma. In 2018 she graduated with honors from Tulane University School of Social Work’s masters program, where she also earned a Certificate in Disaster and Trauma Mental Health. Ms. Hill trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidenced-based treatment for trauma, through the renowned organization, EMDRIA, while still enrolled in her graduate program.

Since working as a full-time therapist, Ms. Hill has facilitated clients’ healing using EMDR protocols to address complicated grief, addiction, single-incident traumatic experiences, and complex histories of trauma. Depending on clients’ needs, Ms. Hill has also used concepts and skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Ms. Hill earned an undergraduate degree in English from Barnard College of Columbia University, and she enjoys blending her passions for creative writing and trauma healing by sometimes incorporating exercises from Narrative Therapy into sessions with clients. While Ms. Hill is passionate about healing for all clients, she has expertise in supporting clients through the challenges of parenting, pregnancy/postpartum, divorce/separation, relationship issues, military service, anxiety, depression, and maintaining substance use recovery.

As your therapist, Ms. Hill’s goal is to empower you to forge your own path toward personal growth and healing. One of her greatest strengths as a clinician is intuitively knowing when to give you a gentle nudge forward and when to provide space to process. She is expertly able to find a balance in her work that is gentle yet firm and nurturing yet boundaried. While you might encounter overwhelming obstacles in your life path, Ms. Hill aims to create a therapeutic space where you feel emotionally cherished. Clients are able to find ways above, around, and through their greatest challenges with this kind of support. However you choose to navigate your healing journey, Ms. Hill would be honored to walk beside you.
